From 2 to 7 September, 2014,  Card. Peter K. A. Turkson, President of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, traveled to Chile and Argentina, for a pastoral visit. Among the many activities in which he took part, Cardinal Turkson met with the Justice and Peace Commissions of both nations and  participated in the Annual Meeting organized by the Association of Christian Entrepreneurs in these countries.

In addition, on Friday, September 5, in Cordoba - Argentina, he gave a lecture during the Congress  "La libertad religiosa en el Siglo XXI: Religión, Estado y Sociedad", organized by the Argentine Council for Religious Freedom. On Saturday 6, His Eminence visited several centers of CTEP (Confederation of Workers' People's Economy) of Argentina, where he met with a large number of initiatives and projects.
