On February the 8th, 2016 we will celebrate the Second International Day of Prayer and Awareness against Human Trafficking.
Trafficking in Persons and the devaluation of life in a globalized world are indicators of a profound transformation of the fundamental value of the human person. This is contained in a new ethics of oppression together with the exploitation of the vulnerability of relationships between human beings. In this context, the special Jubilee of Mercy calls us "to keep our own eyes fixed on mercy, so that we become effective signs of action of the Father" (MV, 3).
