'Examining the Public Health Evidence and Data in Women’s Health, Maternal Health, HIV/AIDS''-Rome, 23 March 2012

On March 23, 2012, a seminar took place in the Sala Etchegaray of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace on the theme: Examining the Public Health Evidence and Data in Women’s Health, Maternal Health, HIV/AIDS.

The invitational seminar was conducted by the World Youth Alliance under the auspices of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace. As President of Justice and Peace, Cardinal Peter K.A. Turkson opened the Seminar with words of introduction and orientation. International experts including Drs. Paloma Duran, Timothy Flanigan, Sarah Flood Beaubrun and Robert Scanlon gave their much-appreciated contributions.

The World Youth Alliance, founded in 1999, is a global coalition of young people committed to the promotion of the dignity of the person at the international level. WAY does this by working directly with young people, developing global policy and educational proposals and programs, and participating directly in international decision making bodies.
